Punks ...
I can vouch for the work by PL. As the Inaugural Chair of Noosa Biosphere under UNESCO I lead a board that wanted to create a website which provided a rich information environment for external and internal users. PL were / are terrific to work with. They listen, adapt, push-back, resolve and follow-through very professionally. The site build achieved more than we hoped for and it is regarded as one of the top biosphere websites across the global family of some 570+ biospheres.

PL have come back to us with ideas each year that keep the site interesting and working in all the new areas of the digital age. We are pretty pleased and thank PL for their efforts. PL committed to biosphere many pro bono hours and that is valued as a contribution to the communites in which they work.

Love ya Guys. Michael Donovan

Re: Digital Strategy

Sunshine Coast Destination would like to thank Punk Logic for doing such a comprehensive strategy for our organisation and the region.
+ I have workshops coming up in Maroochydore for those of you who would like to really learn how to use your Facebook for marketing - here is the link to book into the Facebook4Biz Workshop and Early Bird tickets are now available! http://facebook4biz1.eventbrit...

My blog with loads of helpful social media hints, tips and tutorials can be found at http://saucysocialmedia.com as well.

Re: Photo-realistic sculptor, Ron Mueck wows Brisbane

Agree but there are also some miniature figures that had equal impact if not more. The old lady asleep under the blanket was so touching... I think Mueck is just a confident experimentor and must just be very very interested in people's vulnerabilities and weaknesses. Frailty of the human condition and all that ;)

Re: Photo-realistic sculptor, Ron Mueck wows Brisbane

Ron Mueck’s sculptures are astonishing. Everything about them is lifelike, except for their size. What gives his work its incredible power is the scale he uses.

Re: The Art of Social Media

Hi, I haven't done crowdfunding myself, but I know of quite a few ARIs that are keeping their doors open by using this service. One in particular pays the rent with crowdfunding. So I know it's working!

By the way, Matt, I consider myself to be pretty savvy with a computer & social media but I managed to get a lot out of your presentation, including a few programs and sites that I had not heard of yet.
:) evangeline

I found your presentation at the Social Networking Event extremely informative especially the mention on the Authority value of other sites, which I hadn't considered, your 'To Do List'will be very helpful. It is reassuring that I am on my right path with social media, as I decipher through it all! And I just wanted thank you...

Glad you found it helpful. My house was flooded in the middle of the night a few month back. The girls were camping and I got worried about their and my own safety. I first rescued the guinea pigs swimming in their run, then got all electrical leads and appliances off the ground. Then I sat on my bed wondering how to use twitter in an emergency.

Re: Twitter & Flooding in Queensland

I just found this article, it's a fantastic resource to plan for the future.. one never knows. ALL my information came from following the #qldfloods hashtag and on youtube. I was able to quickly determine the true extent of the danger rather than allow sensationalised mainstream media reporting to alarm me. The loss of life and damage to property was astonishing and tragic, but the media frenzy and hyperbole only served to patronise in my opinion. Furthermore, the comments I read in social media spaces were genuine and did not insult my intelligence or sentiments.

Re: Australians Use of Social Media

Facebook are reporting 10 million active Australian users (as of December 2010)...Not sure why Morgan's come up so low?
